Israel Greenfeld, PhD from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, is an inventor, entrepreneur and the founder of inVenture, an Israel-based systems engineering company in the field of airborne electro-optics. He has over 40 years of industrial experience, and has been responsible for initiating and managing large-scale international projects. He spent two years as a research scientist at NYU and as a consultant to DARPA on robotics and autonomous manufacturing. He authored numerous publications on diverse subjects as differential games, open-system machine controllers, electro-optical systems, electrospinning and nanocomposites. His research activity over the past years as an academic consultant at the Weizmann Institute of Science includes composites mechanics, fiber composites, nanocomposites, biological microstructures and polymer physics.
